The Kimchi festival is a one-day cross-cultural culinary discovery with Korean food as the star. We believe that food is the best tool to bring people together and to understand and communicate with each other. This vibrant community festival will explore the most effective ways to make food ‘go with one’s heart’. It will serve as a platform to promote cultural exchange, strengthen community bonds, and create unforgettable experiences for attendees.

 

Last year, our festival attracted over 1,500 participants and we anticipate even more attendees this year. Kimchi 23 will draw a crowd of at least 3,500 food and culture lovers of all ages and backgrounds. This one-day cultural event consists of food, folk games, live entertainment, and more fun! It will be the largest Asian cultural event in Philadelphia.
